The Washing Machine dive site truly is a wild ride. Situated off the island of Highbourne Cay, Bahamas, the site has an average depth of 17 meters (55 feet) and a maximum depth of 40 meters (131 feet).
Strong currents that can turn divers head over heels, an effect caused by an incoming tide. After the fun ride, divers can then glide over a large patch reef where one can observe nurse sharks and sea turtles, among other aquatic creatures.
Recommended for Intermediate to Advanced divers with drift diving experience.
