Tugboat is a wreck dive site located off the coast of Caracasbaai, Curacao. The wreck, which is overgrown with coral, lies at a depth of only 5 meetrs/17 feet and is suitable for divers of all levels and snorkelers too.
A little further from the tugboat lie a vertical wall and the coral nursery of the Coral Restoration Foundation Curaçao, where you can observe cultivated coral. the main objective of this project is to restore and protect the fragile reef and natural marine ecosystems of Curacao. As for the wall, it is covered with sponges and you can snap some great picture here.
Marine life includes scorpionfish, barracudas, squid, lobsters, boxer shrimp, moray eels, angelfish, trumpet fish, blue parrotfish, yellow-tail snappers, frogfish, and sea horse, among other species.
In the southeast corner of the bay, you may experience some strong currents.
