Spanish Anchor is located at the far South end of Molasses Reef. This large, coral-encrusted anchor is believed to have been used to pull a stricken vessel off reef after it lost its winch. The item is thought to be from the 17th or 18th century.
You can also see passing pelagics and resident marine life such as sea turtles, southern stingrays, and nurse sharks, along with schooling reef fish.
The Spanish Anchor is found at a depth of only 8 meters/25 feet and is accessible to divers of all levels.
