Sirens is a dive site located in St. Paul’s Bay, Malta. This shallow reef has a depth of only 12 meters/39 feet, great visibility, and is accessible to divers of all levels. This spot is often used as a training site for dive courses.
The rocky and sandy bottom is covered with boulders and marine growth. Lots of marine animals live on the quay wall. You can spot moray eels, cuttlefish, octopuses, wrasses, flying gurnards, damselfish, seaperch, blennies, scorpionfish, and bream, among other species.
This area experiences a lot of boat traffic, so be careful.
Sirens can be dived year-round, but the best conditions are found from April to November. Even during winter, the water temperature rarely drops below 13° C/55° F.
