The Rummu Quarry dive site, located an hours drive from Tallin, Estonia, is a pretty unique spot. Underwater, divers can find a former prison, other buildings, mining machinery and equipment, high cliffs and old forests.
The prison has lots of safe entrances which allow divers to enter and exit the building safely. Some rooms still contain furniture and have barred windows.
Rummu Quarry has a maximum depth of 20 meters (66 feet) and is suitable for all divers depending on the conditions. The visibility, can either be poor (less than 5 meters/16 feet) or good (over 10 meters/33 feet).
The dive site is used for ice diving, dive training, and as a fist dive. It's accessible by boat and shore, but has no facilities on the premises.
