Playa Chica is one of Lanzarote’s premier dive site. This spot is perfect for open water divers as well as advanced and tech divers doing their safety or decompression stops.
It offers everything you can dream of: underwater cliffs, caves, channels, coral, and even whale encounters. Shoals of seabream, white bait, white bream, parrotfish, wrasses, pufferfish, and cuttlefish are some of the creatures you can frequently see here.
Playa Chica has a maximum depth of about 40 meters (130 feet). Access can be done by shore. There are few to no currents in the area and visibility is good.
