Lekuan II is a big drop off with a vertical wall that extends to a depth of about 65 meters/213 feet. It features several canyons, crevices, overhangs, pretty soft corals, black corals, and big sponges.
Marine life also includes different nudibranch species, lobsters, sea turtles, moray eels, cleaner shrimps, flatworms, butterflyfish, scorpionfish, redtooth triggerfish, black snappers, and Napoleon wrasses. You may even spot some whitetip sharks, blacktip sharks, and the occasional eagle rays.
Diving around Bunaken Island is possible all year long. The average water temperature varies between 26°-30° C/78°-86° F. Underwater visibility is typically more than 30 meters/100 feet.
