Kubu is a dive site suitable for all levels, including beginners, as its average depth is of 18 meters and the current here is mild, only occasionally being at most moderate.
Kubu has a shallow coral garden at the depths between 3 and 8 meters, with numerous species of marine life to observe, as well as a 20-meter pinnacle and numerous blue-spotted stingrays which can be spotted at 27 meters deep.
The water temperatures go beyond 23 degrees Centigrade throughout the year and the visibility is excellent, going beyond 15 meters.
Among the species which can be found here are soft corals, sea fans, nudibranchs, cuttlefish, barracudas, turtles, clownfish, lionfish, bumphead parrotfish, pufferfish, whitetip and blacktip reef sharks, boxfish and others.
