Dolphin Reef in Eilat, Egypt, is a unique dive site that offers people the opportunity to dive, snorkel, or swim near the friendly and playful bottlenose dolphins. The horseshoe-shaped sea-pen, which covers an area of 10,000 square meters (107,600 square feet) was open in 1990 and averages 12 meters (40 feet) in depth. As such, scuba diving is available to anyone, even those who lack previous experience.
Many other sea creatures can be seen here, including angelfish, cuttlefish, butterflyfish, black-spotted stingrays, and blue-spotted stingrays.
