Car Pile is one of the most challenging and eerie dive sites in Curacaos. Several vehicles, even large trucks, were dumped here in the 1960s so as to create an artificial reef and therefore an environment for the marine life to thrive.
Nevertheless, Car Pile has a depth which can reach 50 meters, which makes it suitable only for the advanced divers.
The marine life which can be observed at this dive site includes moray eels, barracudas, lionfish and macro critters.
