Captain Turtle is – as one can imagine when hearing the name – a great spot for seeing sea turtles. But this spot was also named as such because of the owner of a restaurant nearby that is sometimes called Captain Turtle.
The plateau provides the perfect habitat for nurse sharks that can often be seen here sleeping. The drop-off takes you from 6 meters/20 feet to 20 meters/65 feet. As such, it’s a great site for both novice and experienced divers.
