The diving center is divided into a reception (office) with a small shop, a seminar and training room, an equipment hand-out area, a workshop, a wet area, a changing area with sufficient storage space for private gear, the sanitary facilities, a compressor station and the staff area.
The centre has a large, professionally equipped training room with video/DVD, flipchart, whiteboard, beamer. This room is not only used for the theoretical part of the scuba diving training, but also for seminars and presentations.
MDS Diving School provides 2 shower cubicles and it also has a handicapped accessible toilet. Air dryers in the wet areas of the diving base ensure a dry climate even during high season. The centre also offers a separate (and locked) room for equipment that doesn’t like humidity, such as lamps, cameras and their housing, where they can be stored and charged.
The centre provides suits in all sizes and thicknesses and the rental BCDs have integrated weight pockets. For “heavyweights” it also offers harness weight belts. Underwater lamps and cameras are also available for rent and their Scubapro regulators are serviced several times a year. All regulators are equipped with an alternate air source (octopus) and also a pressure gauge or diving computer with depth gauge.
