Nomes alternativos: Plectorhinchus
Sweetlips are marine ray-finned fish belonging to the subfamily Plectorhinchinae. Their name comes from their big lips.
They live on corals reefs in the Indo-Pacific region where they are found in small groups or pairs. You'll usually spot them in nooks and crannies.
At night, sweetlips venture out of their hiding to search for prey: invertebrates shrimps, small crabs, and bristle worms.
