Sea hares are medium-sized to very large opisthobranch gastropod molluscs. In simpler terms, a marine snail. They can grow to be up to 20cm long but are usually much shorter.
The name "sea hare" comes from their head tentacles that resembles hare's ears. Color-wise, they range from reddish-maroon colour to green or brown.
