Razorfish

The razorfish is a species of bivalve mollusk that can be found in Northern Europe and Eastern Canada, usually on sandy beaches. They have a rectangular shell which can split in two halves with a white or pale orange flesh inside.
The population of razorfish has declined due to overfishing. Their shells are very vulnerable when it comes to minor perturbations such as salinity and temperature.
