The numbray is a species of electric ray endemic to Australia. It is named so because if you touch one, the electric shock it gives will make your limbs go numb.
They can grow quite large and can expand their mouths so that they can electrocute large prey like penguins, which they can eat whole.
Numbrays spend most of their time on the sea bottom, buried in sand.
