Nomes alternativos: ghost shrimp
The glass shrimp is a freshwater crustacean found in several lakes in North America. However, their origin is not that clear. They are found naturally in habitats worldwide.
These shrimps are primality clear in color, a characteristic that helps them evade predators. Some specimens may have colored spots on their back.
They grow to nearly 4cm/1.5in long and females tend to grow larger than males.
