Nomes alternativos: Phacellophora camtschatica, fried egg jellyfish
The egg-yolk jellyfish is a large jellyfish identifiable by the yellow coloration in the center of its bell, a characteristic which earned it its nickname. The diameter of the bell can reach 60 cm/20 ft and most specimens have 16 clusters of dozens of tentacles, each measuring up to 6 m/20 ft in length.
