The California sheephead is a species of wrasse found in the eastern Pacific Ocean. It lives in rocky reef and kelp beds where it feeds on crustaceans, mollusks, and sea urchins.
These sheepheads can grow to a size of up to 91 cm/3 ft and a weight of 16 kg/35 lb.
