The blue sea star is a species of sea star found in the waters of the tropical Indo-Pacific region. They can grow up to 30 cm (11.8 in) in diameter. In some parts of the world, non-blue color morphs can be frequent. You can usually spot them in coral reefs and seagrass beds.
