Tongo Point is an excellent dive site in the Moalboal region of Cebu. This drop off boasts a multitude of soft and hard corals, small caves, and an array of marine creatures of all shapes and sizes.
Sea turtles, sea snakes, groupers, barracudas, jacks, ghost pipefish, leaf fish, batfish, and lots of species of nudibranchs are among the most common animals you can spot here. Sightings of whale sharks have also been reported in the area.
Tongo Point has a maximum depth of 55 meters/180 feet and an average visibility of about 20 meters/66 meters. Water temperature ranges from 26° to 30°/79°-86° F.
