La Francesa Shallows dive site in Cozumel is an easy dive with moderate current. The dive site features depths ranging from 12 to 18 meters (40-60 feet) with a ridge of coral rising 6 meters (20 feet) from the bottom.
Beautiful gorgonians, sponges, and colorful schools of fish make this the perfect dive for those passionate about underwater photography.
The marine life at Francesa Shallows is comprised of butterflyfish, angelfish, blue tangs, jackknife fish, snappers, lobsters, and the occasional barracudas, damselfish, parrotfish, and nurse sharks - just to name a few.
