Glavina is a dive site off Krk Island, Croatia. It consists of a cliff that plummets into the sea. Here, you will discover a wonderful underwater world teeming with fish and other creatures hiding under rocks and between crevices. There are two walls that slope – the first to a depth of about 25 meters (82 feet), and the second reaches a depth of about 45 meters (147 feet).
The spot features a wide variety of marine flora and fauna consisting of sponges, gorgonians, Mediterranea feather -stars, anemones, mollusks, sea urchins, crabs, lobsters, and stingers. Schools of dentex are frequently encountered here.
Glavina can be dived year-round, but the optimal diving season runs from May to September, when temperatures reach up to 28° C/82° F. Visibility averages 10 meters (33 feet). Currents pose no threat here, and diving is suitable for divers of all levels.
