El Fanadir North is a wonderful dive site Hurghada. it features a reef wall to a depth of 12 meters (39 feet) followed by a plateau that extends to 20 meters (66 feet), and then a drop off to well beyond 30 meters (100 feet).
The corals found here are not as spectacular as in other areas, but marine life is varied and abundant and well worth the dive. Divers can find fish such as trunkfish, goatfish, sweetlips, scorpionfish, lionfish, stonefish, pipefish, octopuses, and more. On exceptional occasions, you may even spot the elusive frogfish, guitar sharks, dolphins, manta rays, or even hammerheads.
