The Dona Marilyn is a 98-meter/321-foot long passenger ferry that sank in 1988 off Malapascua Island after being hit by Typhoon Ruby, which flooded the vessel, causing an engine failure. The ship succumbed to her fate and now rests in 33 meters/108 feet of water on her starboard side. Her masts are located at 21 meters/69 feet. Dona Marilyn remains largely intact, covered in marine growth.
Glassfish, cuttlefish, starfish, scorpionfish, nudibranchs, sweetlips, stingrays, sea urchins, zebra crabs, Coleman's shrimps, and whitetip reef sharks can be spotted on or around the wreck.
Dona Marilyn can be explored by advanced divers. The wreck is fully penetrable. The average underwater visibility is 15 meters/50 feet.
