Devil’s Grotto is located off George Town, Grand Cayman. This is a popular dive site among scuba divers of all levels, with a maximum depth of only 12 meters/40 feet. It features huge coral heads with plenty of swim-throughs, open chimneys, and caverns.
Marine life includes parrotfish, barracudas, tarpons, eels, silversides, and many other tropical fish.
You can dive Devil’s Grotto all year round, but keep in mind that June through October is the official hurricane season in the Cayman Islands. The average water temperature stays between 26° and 28° C/78°-82° F throughout the year, and water visibility is 20 meters/65 feet.
