The Cirkewwa dive site is one of the most popular ones in the Maltese islands. Also known as Right and Green Arch, it is an underwater archway situated 12 meters below the surface. Before reaching Cirkewwa you can swim through a few nice tunnels, and there's also cliffs and walls in the area.
The maximum depth reaches 25 meters with a visibility of 10 to 30 meters. The current is usually mild, but can get strong at times.
Diving is possible all year round and most of the site is suitable for beginners. Other attractions at this dive site include two wrecks (Rozi and P29) and a Madonna statue.
As for marine life, divers can spot tuna, groupers, barracudas, morays, jacks, conger eels, damselfish, and other species of fish.
