Bunutan is a dive site that can cater to different types of divers, but it is usually best if divers who adventure here are of at least intermediate level, as the current can go from medium to strong.
The average depth here is of 15 meters, but Bunutan can reach a maximum depth of 35 meters.
The dive spot features an impressive coral garden, with barrel sponges and sea fans, which house numerous species such as garden eels, moray eels, barracudas, various tiny critters, groupers, pufferfish, giant trevally, blue-spotted stingrays, turtles, lionfish and whitetip reef sharks.
All of these and many more can be easily spotted because the dive site visibility goes at least at 20 meters and sometimes as far as 25 meters.
Bunutan can be accessed by boat.
