Diving holiday Bali Anchor Wreck is named after the two anchors lying here at 6 and 32 meter. Deeper, between 35 and 50 meter, are the remains of a large vessel of which name and history are unknown. However, there are some implications pointing in the direction of a slaveship. Anchor Wreck is also called 'Kapal Budak'. 'Kapal' means ship and 'Budak' means slave. The ship is almost unrecognizable, being heavily overgrown with coral. Particulars Enter the water from the boat and descend along the steep wall. Then search for both anchors and of corse the wreck. The wreck can easily be found by following the anchor chain down the slooping reef wall. Anchor Wreck can also hold some surprises. If you are lucky you may encounter an eagle ray, a whale shark, or even a sun fish. Warnings Deep dive. Be sure to check your depth and don't exceed decompression limits.
