The yellowtail barracuda is a small species of barracuda found in the Indo-West Pacific. They have an elongated body with two well separated dorsal fins and can grow to 60 cm but most only reach 35 to 40 cm. Their large head is slightly flattened towards the rear and has a pointed snout and long jaws.
