The yellow damselfish is a blue and yellow fish from the Indo-Pacific region. They prefer sheltered lagoons and inshore reefs, and do not swim past the depth of 16 meters.
Adults are usually solitary or stay in pairs, while juveniles are more likely to be found in small groups.
