The horn shark is a species of bullhead shark endemic to the western coast of North America. They usually live at depths of 2 to 11 meters, but migrate to deeper water during winter.

This species of shark is recognizable by its short, wide head with prominent supraorbital ridges over its eyes. The snout is blunt and the nostrils are split into inflow and outflow openings by a long flap that reaches the mouth.

Horn sharks typically don't exceed 1 meter.
