Noms alternatifs : Gymnothorax javanicus
The giant moray is a species of moray eel that lives in the Indo-Pacific waters. It has a body similar to a serpentine and, although they are not the longest, they definitely have the largest body mass from the moray eel family.
When breeding time comes, they will travel large distances, often without eating. The courtship begins when the water reaches its higher temperature.
