Diving at the White Sea is an amazing experience, with its beautiful scenery and enchanting marine life.
To dive here, all divers must provide an ice diving certification and should be proficient in dry suit diving.
Divers must come equipped with lots of gear: dry suit, neoprene hoods, rubber outer gloves, full face masks, tank, fins, and lead weights. But when they finally take that plunge, they'll be greeted by magnificent landscape: rock walls leading to the depths, ice masses, and swaying kelp.
During ice diving, water visibility reaches 30-40 meters (98-131 feet). Soft corals, sponges, anemones, Ascidiacea, sea urchins, shrimps, hermit crabs, Nudibranchia molluscs, and many other animals and plants can be observed here. The White Sea is also home to the white whale (beluga).
