On December 7, 2002, the cargo ship Sanni was wrecked near the village of Rezovo after strong winds and large waves broke its anchor rope, causing it to crash into the rocks. The crew was successfully evacuated by rescue teams. A few days later, on December 11, 2002, the ship broke into three parts and began to sink. However, today the ship's engine remains underwater, along with over 40% of its wreckage still lying on the seabed. These remains create conditions for an artificial reef, attracting many fishes. Moreover, this dive spot is one of the clearest along the Bulgarian coastline.
