Rock Point is located off the eastern tip of Chaloklum Bay, Koh Phangan Island. It is not dived as often as others in the area, and this is mainly due to the unpredictable conditions. When visibility and current are favorable, this dive site provides divers with wonderful views of the underwater world.
A miniature Sail Rock, Rock Point has small walls, swim-throughs, and shallow areas of less than 10 meters/33 feet. On the north and east sides, the depth reaches 20 meters/66 feet.
You can enjoy a good variety of marine life – from critters like batfish and regular reef fish such as butterflyfish and angelfish to larger fish such as barracudas.
The dive site can be visited throughout the year, but the best conditions in this area can be found from March to September. The average water temperature is about 28° C/82° F any given month.
