Rubis (Ruby in English) is an old submarine that now rests on the sea bottom near the Saint Mandrier peninsula in the Mediterranean. It was built in 1931 and served during WWII when it was nicknamed “Comrade of the Liberation.”
The submarine wreck lies at a depth of 40 meters and has become a lively artificial reef attracting groupers and dentex.
