Guy Harvey is a wreck dive site situated south of Hillsboro Inlet, Fort Lauderdale. The former Haitian cargo ship was renamed after Guy Harvey, a Jamaican artist that financed the sinking of the ship back in 1997. Harvey also painted the ship, with drawings of sharks and game fish visible on the wreck.
The wreck lies upright with the bow facing south. It measures 56 meters/185 feet in length and 9 meters/30 feet in width.
It is covered with marine growth and many marine animals such as barracudas, hogfish, and lobsters now call the ship their home.
This is a difficult dive, suitable only for experienced wreck divers and technical divers. At its deepest, the Guy Harvey wreck touches the seabed at 43 meters/140 feet. The average depth at the site is 33 meters/108 feet.
