Gota Abu Makadi has a depth between 6 and 30 meters and it is a sheltered dive spot with basically inexistent current, which makes it a great dive site even for the novice divers. Nevertheless, divers of all levels can find something beautiful and interesting to see here.
There is a very interesting topography at Gota Abu Makadi, with a plateau that has numerous coral boulders, nearby canyons and pinnacles with abundant marine life.
Gota Abu Makadi shelters a variety of marine life, such as mackarels, batfish, crabs, groupers, barracudas, trevallies, nudibranchs, jacks, seahorses.
