Babylon Wall is a huge wall dive in the northern part of Grand Cayman. It’s one of the most remote spots of the island, often visited only by liveaboards or multiple-day island safari-goers, yet still easy to dive.
The dive starts at a depth of about 12/40 feet, with a maximum depth of about 30 meters/100 feet. the drop-off is phenomenal; the topography changes to cascading sheets of plate coral and pinnacles extending to the open waters of the Cayman Trench.
The wall is covered with black coral, barrel sponges, and purple sea fans. Sea turtles, rays, and pelagic fish are regularly seen here. Chromis, parrotfish, Creole wrasses, Queen angelfish, rock beauties, and barracudas can also be spotted swimming along the wall.
