Jody Zschiedrich Plongée Eagle Ray Rock

Canyon was phenomenal. Unfortunately we had strong wind and current that morning, so viz from surface to top of reef (75’ down) was only about 10’. Once into the canyon (down to 100’) viz was closer to 50’ and with virtually no current. There’s a variety of healthy coral. Saw a stingray and some sea cucumbers. Barracudas were guarding the mooring line…didn’t see them until we were right up on them on our ascent with the lack of viz. the sandy bottom looked more like black ski moguls (lots of mounds). Fun site to dive.
