The walleye is a freshwater peciform fish which lives in most of Canada and the northern United States. Its body has an olive colour which grades into a golden hue on its flanks. The belly of the fish has an even lighter colour, closer to white.
The fish also has a large mouth with many sharp teeth.
It can grow up to 80 centimeters in length and can weigh up to 9 kilograms. Females are generally larger than males.
