The California sea cucumber is a species of sea cucumber found from the western Aleutian Islands and Bering Sea off Alaska to Baja California.
These creatures can grow to a length of 50 cm and a width of 5 cm. They feed by sifting through sediments with the twenty retractable tentacles surrounding their mouth.
