The Umm Kamar dive site lies off the Umm Qamar Island, north of Giftun Island. It features a sloping wall profile then drops to depth of over 35 meters. The small plateau is full of caves and overhangs. The average visibility is 20-30 meters.
The bottom has patches of coral but the reef has some notable species such as the antipatharian black bush coral. The marine life includes reef species, barracudas, trumpetfish, and sharks.
