Twin Rocks consists of two rock formations located northeast of Miniloc Island. The sloping reef drops to a sandy bottom at 30 meters/100 feet. Here, you can find numerous blue-spotted stingrays resting on the sea bottom. That’s why Twin Rocks is also known as Stingray Airport.
The site is also one of the best places in El Nido to see ghost pipefish. Look for them in the corals and the muddy bottom, as these tiny creatures camouflage to blend in with the environment.
Marine life includes species like scribbled filefish, mimic filefish, short-tailed pipefish, boxer-banded shrimps, yellow-spotted pufferfish, lunar fusiliers, crocodile fish, lionfish, trevallies, groupers, and barracudas.
Twin Rocks is suitable for all divers. Diving is recommended during the dry season, between December and February.
