Trigger Reef is a dive site located off the eastern coast of Pserimos Island in the Aegean Sea. It got its name because of the regular sightings of triggerfish, which are otherwise rare in this region.
You’ll dive to a depth of about 14 meters/45 feet, as this is where you’ll find most of the marine animals, so there’s no need to descend further.
Some of the creatures you can spot here include Flabelina affinis and other nudibranchs, octopus, moray eels, and the typical Mediterranean Sea fish.
The summer is usually the best time to dive in Greece, with sea temperatures of about 26° C/78° F.
