The University dive site is located at Lighthouse Beach and it got its name because of the close proximity to the Eilat University of Marine Sciences. The spot is frequently dived by marine biologists and students for research purposes.
Here you can find a “Pressure Chamber,” which is a metallic structure installed by scientists to create a habitat for soft yellow corals.
The dive site is suitable for all recreational divers. It has a depth of 6 to 18 meters/20-60 feet and calm diving conditions.
