Spooky Channel is a huge canyon where the overhead hanging coral obstructs the light, hence its spooky appearance. Visibility is also often limited due to the murky waters of the Sandy Bay lagoon which is where the dive begins.
The channel has a maximum depth of 30 meters. At its deepest point, you’ll find a cathedral-shaped chamber full of lobsters and starfish.
Don’t expect too much marine life at the site, though. The main attraction here is the “spooky channel,” which provides some great photographic opportunities.
