The Sea Emperor is a 52 meter-/171-foot-long, 13-meter/43-foot-wide wreck located off Deerfield Beach. It is a former hopper barge that was sunk in October of 1991 and now rests on the sea bed at 21 meters/70 feet with its top at 16 meters/55 feet. This spot is accessible to all divers.
Penetration is possible and quite easy. You have enough light going the wreck and there’s plenty of access points going to all chambers of the barge.
Some of the marine life you can expect around the shipwreck includes nurse sharks, stingrays, Goliath groupers, grunts, eels, among others.
The Sea Emperor is part of a three-wreck triangle, the other two being the United Caribbean (to the south-east) and the Noulla Express (to the east).
