Rawa Island is situated 16km from Mersing town on the mainland. It offers crystal-clear waters, underwater caves, swim-throughs, and boulders covered with corals (including black corals) and sea fans. The site abounds in fish life which made it a popular spot for both the locals and foreigners.
The peak season for diving at Pulau Rawa is April through October. The house reef on Rawa Island is shallow and easily accessible for beginners and Open Water divers. The conditions are calm, with gentle currents.
